阿納斯塔西婭原名Anastacia Newkirk，1973年9月17日出生于美國(guó)芝加哥，父親是酒店歌手，母親是紐約百老匯的演員。她14歲時(shí)父母離異，隨母親來(lái)到紐約，并進(jìn)入藝術(shù)學(xué)校。阿納斯塔西婭1999年參加MTV的新秀選拔賽后加入樂(lè)壇。簽約Sony之后于2000年發(fā)行了個(gè)人首張專輯《并非它類》(Not That Kind)獲得巨大成功，銷量逾200萬(wàn)。2002年發(fā)行第二張專輯《自然的怪誕》(Freak of Nature)，當(dāng)前的單曲“Paid My Dues”在全球熱播不斷。阿納斯塔西婭的演唱和舞蹈風(fēng)格以隨性自由為特點(diǎn)，金發(fā)白膚的搶眼外形之下蘊(yùn)藏的卻是一把“擁有純粹的黑人靈魂的聲線”。去年11月1日，國(guó)際足聯(lián)最終確定阿納斯塔西婭來(lái)演唱2002年韓日世界杯主題歌“風(fēng)暴”。
